Kai’s SHUN Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo range consists of three blade shapes created in close collaboration with the celebrity chef. Specially sketched by Tim Mälzer and implemented by the product designers and blacksmiths in Japan. Japan and Europe artfully linked together. The basic idea was to develop a combination of the typical Japanese Santoku knife and the classic European chef’s knife. The core made of VG10, covered with more flexible Damascus steel, ensures maximum sharpness, long edge retention and ideal performance. Visuall highlight: The fine damascening of the blade, reminiscent of a water surface in the rain (Japanese Minamo).

The exceptional design quality and innovative power of the SHUN premier Tim Mälzer Minamo series is now sealed by the “Red Dot” award.
